Born and raised in New York City, Rose Lewinson has been a teacher for most of her career working with children from all over the world whose first language is not English. Even in her youth, Rose spent a large amount of her time in Europe where she was exposed to many cultural contrasts and different professional environments
Rose moved to London in 1982 where she experienced the early stages of Britain's reviving economy and saw the rise of a new generation of European consumer spending their vacations outside their home base. The massive influx of foreigners into London and the rapid development of services designed to accommodate this human tide created an explosive multicultural tidal wave that was to influence businesses and consumers alike. As a native New Yorker, Rose saw this transformation as the early seeds of a revolution that has now affected almost every British consumer in their daily shopping and is impacting their children throughout the school system.
Rose's constant trips to Europe long after she moved back to New York and daily exposure to her students provided her with the opportunity to study people and listen to their stories. "I became a student of life", she recalls. Her English husband David was constantly traveling all over the world and coming back with stories from his trips that prompted her daughter to get her own taste of Europe during her junior year and set Rose on her organic journey that has culminated in this book.

Her first book took over a year to put together and nearly two years of research educating whoever wants to listen about why an organic lifestyle is not just an alternative option but a necessity for all of us to adopt.
Rose is working on developing a series of products that can help people enjoy their lives, nourish their bodies and avoid some of the poisons that we all seem to accumulate in our bodies.
